Dictation doesn't work

Make sure microphone and speech recognition access are allowed in Settings › Moss Journal. On-device dictation also requires the language to be supported by your iPhone.

I'm not getting reminders

Check that notifications are allowed in Settings › Notifications › Moss Journal, and that a Focus mode isn't silencing them.

How do I move my journal to a new iPhone?

In the app's settings, tap "Export Backup" and save the file somewhere you can reach from the new iPhone, such as iCloud Drive, or send it with AirDrop. On the new iPhone, install Moss Journal and tap "Import Backup".

How do I restore or cancel Plus?

Tap "Restore Purchases" on the Plus screen to unlock Plus on a new device with the same Apple Account. To cancel a subscription, go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.

Can you recover my entries?

No. Your entries never reach us, so we can't restore them. An exported backup file is the only copy outside your device.
